About Five Guys
Five Guys is a made-to-order burger chain known for fresh, hand-formed patties, free toppings, and fries cooked in peanut oil. The Murrell family opened the first shop in 1986 near Arlington, Virginia, and the company is based in Lorton, Virginia, with about 1,700 US locations. Free in-store peanuts and a "regular" fry that overfills the cup are part of the experience. Prices sit at the higher end because everything is cooked fresh. You order at the counter or through the Five Guys app.
